Calls for papers to be submitted to the "Proceedings of the MSTU"
The articles should be submitted on the computer 3.5 diskette (it is allowed using the files compressed by programmes ARJ and RAR) or by e-mail and as a hard copy (2 copies).
- Language - English or Russian.
- The text processor Word 7.0 for Windows 95 or Word 6.0 for Windows 3.11.
- Page size A4.
- Font - Times New Roman.
- Font size - 10 - in the main part; 16 - in the title; 14 - in the author name list (see the pattern).
- The fonts in the title, subtitles and author name list are bold.
- The title and subtitles' alignment is left. There are no full stops after the title and subtitles if they are situated in the individual line(s).
- The author name list is situated after the title (after an empty space) and has the left alignment (see the pattern).
- The name of the faculty, department and chair is indicated with Italic font after the author name list. If authors belong to different chairs or institutions then the individual line is assigned to each chair and institution in the author name list.
- There are no new paragraph indentions in the text (see the pattern).
- There is an empty line between the paragraphs.
- There is a single indention between the lines.
- Margins: top, bottom, right and left - all 2.5 cm.
- Figures are pasted by the author to the suitable place among the text with the center alignment of the figure captions.
- Citations in the text are given in the round brackets with the first author's name (Italic) and then the issue years. Where there are several authors, it is necessary to add "et al." after the first author's name. In the case of two authors both names should be written down.
- The reference list should be given in ABC order according the first author names. The second and the next lines of each reference begin from a new paragraph left indention.
- Author names, their initials, the article title, the journal title, the volume title, the page numbers, the issue year should be given in each reference. Authors' names and their initials are typed with bold font.
- Every article must include abstract, introduction, conclusion and acknowledgements. Section headings must be numbered.
- Formula marks differing from generally accepted must have explanations in the text. Equations should be numbered in parentheses using Arabic numerals on the right-hand side.
