Innovative polarization antenna for radiocommunication in high latitudes (Navigation safety in Arctic)

PDFRead

Abstract. The problem of loss of antenna systems' efficiency due to the so-called polarization mismatch is extremely relevant for the high-latitude radio paths. This is especially important when operating in the UHF band in a rocking vessel. The problem of using the structures of active vibrators on the basis of Z-elements as receiving and transmitting antennas with possibilities of rapid changes in the plane of polarization of the received/radiated signal has been solved.
