Grot about the soul
Abstract. The peculiarities of the philosophic views of a Russian philosopher Grot (the second half of the XIX century) on the problem of the soul, correlation of spirit and substance have been considered in the paper. His views on the history of studying this question by various philosophical schools have been analyzed. The author explores the contribution of the scientist in Russian philosophy in the second half of the nineteenth century, the relevance of his ideas for modern science.
