Resourcing of fishing fleet upgrading

Abstract. The paper considers some issues of water biological resources of the Atlantic Ocean and upgrading of fishing fleet of Northern basin enterprises. Data characterizing integration processes in the enterprises of the Northern basin have been given. It has been shown that for most of the companies lack of availability of the resources is the determining restrictive factor in construction of new productive ships. Some proposals aimed at overcoming the prevailing resource constraints in updating the fishing fleet have been made. The study used methods of groups and analysis of statistical data including the retrospective one.
