New methods of estimation of socio-economic development of regions in Russia
Abstract. The paper presents results of the estimation of socio-economic development of Russian regions in 2008-2009 obtained by implementation of the refined techniques of integrated assessment. The author formulates proposals for improving the existing methods using indicators that determine the levels of regions’ industrial development by activity (mining, manufacturing, production and distribution of gas and water), agriculture, research and innovation capacity, and exposure levels of regional economic activity on the environment and natural resources and state of crime.
