Assessment of technical condition of the internal combustion engine according to the current consumed by the starter motor when scrolling

Abstract. The paper presents results of working out the method of diagnosing an internal combustion engine by current consumed by the starter when scrolling engine. The general idea of the method, equipment used for research have been presented. The results of researching impact of combustion chamber leakage on oscillogram of current consumed by the starter when scrolling engine have been given as well as revised limits of diagnostic parameters.
