On the alkaline plutones orebearing problem
Abstract. The representative material on alkaline massifs of the Kola region and data on other alkaline provinces of the world make it possible to consider common peculiarities of deposits genesis processes in alkaline plutons. The majority of these deposits are those of the non-coherent elements of the mantle: Ti, P, Zr, Nb, Ta, REE, Sr and Ba. High complexity of the elementary composition of the initial alkaline magmas are responsible for the generation of deposits. A concentration supersaturation (supercooling) in crystallizing systems and separation of mineral phases on their plasticity plays an essential role in the generation of deposits. The space coexistence of monomineral rocks and concentration of the rare elements in deposits of the alkaline massifs is considered.
