Views of the Murmansk region residents on Orthodox church and churches' organization
Abstract. The paper represents results of researching attitude, opinions and evaluation of Orthodox churches and churches' organization by people living in towns of the Murmansk region. The research was conducted using interviews and analysis of regional media. The study has shown that the church attendance is closely related to its reputation which depends on several factors: atmosphere in the church, priest personality, church interaction with the urban structures and social institutions.
