The dialectic of sense and rational in the language with speech pathology. Aphasia
Abstract. The paper considers speech disorders in organic brain damage known as aphasia. Such speech impediment as a violation of the naming of objects' names in various forms of aphasia has been analyzed. It has been shown that the defect of nominative function of speech is most clearly manifested in the category of individual objects and phenomena. The definition of the concept of image in violation and restore of speech has been given. The authors identify three types of images: the perceptual image, image composed of sensory-visual representations and cognitive image. Patients connect words with the corresponding object when there is a cognitive image. It has been shown that violation of the nominative function of speech in aphasia and paraphasia were described by Freud in healthy people.
