Calculation of temperature distribution in rib with constant cross-section and radiative heat transfer on surface

Abstract. The approximate analytical calculation method of temperature distribution along the rib with constant cross-section and radiative heat transfer on surface has been developed. The method is based on calculation of the lowest and highest parameters of the temperature field. By using the integral linearizing transformation the authors considerably decrease impact of the nonlinear term in the basic differential equation. The found analytical formulas have allowed comparatively easy calculate the maximum and minimum temperature indexes along the rib. The interval between the minimum and maximum index is minor with the minor index of the Stark number. With the Stark number increasing the interval between the minimum and maximum increases. But the arithmetical mean of these boundary temperatures is not too different from the real one
