Abstract. Pelletized slag of copper-nickel smelter ("Pechenganikel" combine, "Kola MMC" JSC) has been investigated as a potential technogenic deposit. It has been shown that nonferrous metals can be re-extracted from slag using flotation. The work presents the results of laboratory simulation of heap leaching of non-ferrous metals. Ceramic building materials from slag-based feed have been produced and their main properties have been studied
