The social and political prerequisites of formation of civil society in Russia
Abstract. The paper considers the processes of transformation of the social structure of the Russian society, the state of "the middle class" as a social basis of the civil society. The processes of aggregation of social interests and their reflection in forming multi-party political system have been analyzed. The author has pointed out the differentiation of social interests in the Russian society, their instability. This instability has forced the political parties to find their social basis outside the political classes - at the borders of the social structure.
