The social and economic potential of the Europian North regions and problems of its use
Abstract. In the paper the social-economic potential of the Russian North economics has been investigated. The basic problems of the Russian North regions' social-economic development have been considered on the basis of these analytical materials. The conclusion has been made that the main problem is contradiction between the low human and high territorial, natural, ecological and energy potential.
