Scientific rationality, appropriate image and values of science
Abstract. The paper considers the problem of the negative attitude to science in the modern society. It has been shown that it is necessary to work out some abstract theoretical model of "science appropriate image". Values which can be connected to science have been determined; aspects of science showing its value have been analyzed. The analysis has been made basing on the approach developed by Hugh Lacey. It has been proved that the material devoted to moral and ethic scientific problems should be present in any educational programme directed to forming of appropriate image of science.
