On heavy metals contamination of the Kola Bay water according to research held in 2001-2004...
Abstract. The paper considers microorganism contribution to the process of northern sea purification from petroleum hydrocarbons. Some quantitative data on seasonal dynamics of potential hydrocarbon oxidizing activity of bacterial plankton of the Kola Bay littoral in macrovegetation tangle and out of them have been obtained for the first time. These results can be used for calculation of permissible capacity on to a certain aquatic ecosystem and for registration of microorganism contribution to the process of natural purification of the northern sea littoral from petroleum contamination.
