On using vermiculite ores reject material as raw material for magnesium compounds' manufacture

Abstract. The alternative scenario marked in the headline has been analyzed in the paper. The isotope 79Se has been considered as a migrant. The conceptual and mathematical models of the considered scenario are similar to the corresponding models of the normal evolution scenario of the underground radiation-dangerous object. The analysis of numerical experiments results has been held on the following factors: 1) spatial distribution of the isotope 79Se concentration on thickness of engineering barriers (the concrete and bentonite); 2) dynamics of the isotope concentration in the control point at the interface of the near and far field. The research helps define the influence of the considered mistake on the object ecological safety within the framework of the used methodology of the safety assessment.
