Abstract. In the paper the issues of thermal factor influence on choice of layout of storage facility for problem types of ship spent nuclear fuel (SNF) accumulated in the Murmansk region have been considered. The principles of the calculation method and the results of thermal regime assessments of underground storage facility for SNF have been presented.
