Unsettled problems of the Arctic developing
Abstract. The paper highlights problems of co-ordination of defense and economic interests in the Russian Arctic. Special attention has been paid to ensuring the level of defense and safety in the Arctic region; the complex of measures providing qualitative reorganization of the Northern Navy and enterprises of the defense branch of the Murmansk and Arkhangelsk regions has been proposed.
