Improving the efficiency of industrial power supply systems using current-limiting devices
Abstract. The analysis of developments in the field of increasing efficiency of functioning enterprise electric power supply circuits has been held. The attention has been paid to improving quality of voltage at deep limiting short-circuit currents with current-limiting devices and switching devices based on power semiconductor technology. The new schemes of electricity distribution networks 6, 10 and 0,4 kV with parallel operation of sections of busbars have been proposed and thoroughly analyzed. It has been shown that implementation of the developed schemes leads to substantial improvement in power quality and limit short circuit currents in industrial power networks.
