Abstract. The target tracking problem for vessel traffic systems with 2D radars has been discussed. Conditions of small high-manuever vessels tracking crash have been shown. The algorithm for robust track-while-scan tracking based on the Sugeno fuzzy logic maneuver detector has been considered.
