Abstract. The paper considers the kinetics of alkaline hydrolysis of N-acetylglucosamine and D-glucosamine depending on temperature and reagents' concentration. The mathematical model of hydrolysis has been proposed, velocity constants and the energy of reaction activation have been calculated.
